For most people it's a must-have during camping or a survival situation. Every person has specific preferences about knives, but for me the most important features are weigth and sharpness. I don't take anything heavy, one knife and one multi-tool.
KNIFE - M-Tech Tactical 5' folding knife - made of 440C stainless steel blade, 5' closed (12,7cm) and 3,25' blade (8,25cm). Other features: emergency cutter, glass breaker, pocket clip. I've been using this knife for at least 6 years in different situations and I am really happy. The weigth is only 160g. After watching my supporting partner's - Universal Survival videos from their expeditions I can say it's true that any bigger knives than moolti-tools are not the best idea for hiking. My knife is ultra-light as for knives, I've been using it for such a long time. I just feel comfortable when I have it with me!
VICTORINOX multitool - no idea what model - the most important features: small knife, scissors, saw, can and bottle opener, screwdriver, corcscrew, skewer, toothpick, tweezers. Attached bright paracord. Very light and comfortable in use, the biggest problem for me is to open all these tools, it's really hard! I will be in need of a multitool which is irreplaceable during any adventure. No need to explain more, see photos!
Dla wielu niezbędny podczas kempingu lub survivalu. Każdy ma swoje indywidualne preferencje jaki powinien być nóż, jednakże dla mnie na moją wyprawę najważniejsza jest lekkość, funkcjonalność i aby nóż był ostry! Nie zabieram niczego ciężkiego, jeden nóż i jeden multitool.
M-Tech 5' składany nóż - zrobiony ze stali nierdzewnej 440C składany nóż taktyczny. Złożony ma 12,7cm długości, ostrze ma 8,25cm więc cały ma prawie 21cm długości. Posiada klips do noszenia na pasie, ostrze do przecinania pasów, sznurów, paracordu oraz miejsce specjalnie do rozbijania szkła. Używam go od co najmniej 6 lat i jestem naprawdę zadowolony. Co najważniejsze, waży tylko 160g!!! Po przeanalizowaniu wyprawę na Syberię partnerów wspierających wyprawę, Universal Survival, mogę stwierdzić to samo, że nie potrzeba dużego noża, a tak naprawdę wystarczy scyzoryk. Mój nóż jest niezwykle lekki, poręczny, ostry, używałem go przez wiele lat i czuję się pewnie gdy mam go przy sobie.
VICTORINOX multitool - nie wiem jaki model - najważniejsze funkcje: nóż, nożyczki, piła, otwieracz do puszek i butelek, śrubokręt, korkociąg, szpikulec, wykałaczka i pęseta. Dołączyłem jaskrawy paracord. Niezwykle lekki i przyjemny w użyciu, jednak mam pewne obawy, mam duże ręce i ciężko się otwiera poszczególne narzędzia, ale nie na tyle aby zrezygnować i wziąć inny.
